For nearly a quarter of a century the John P. Hall, Sr. Children's Charity has helped needy children in Clay County. The organization is funded solely through the support of local residents and businesses.

Two major events help to raise funds for the charity's work throughout the year. The first is the ANNUAL DINNER AND AUCTION held in November at the Hall Ranch in Green Cove Springs.

The evening features a home-cooked dinner and an array of exciting auction items provided by local merchants and residents. Over the years, the event has become one of the most fun evenings of the year with items like home-baked pies bringing in more than their market share to help support the charity.

In 2004, the charity launched the CLAY COUNTRY JUBILEE held at the Clay County Agricultural Fairgrounds in an effort to provide family entertainment and also raise funds for the charity. While the event continues to grow each year, it is known for bringing well-known country music artists to the Clay County stage.
