Each year the Charity awards scholarships to Clay County's high school seniors who are recognized for community service and their scholastic abilities. Many of these students would not have the opportunity to attend college if it were not for the financial aid provided by the J.P. Hall, Sr. Children's Charities.

The scholarship are awarded each year at a banquet hosted by the Charity and many of the recipients are unaware of why they have been invited until the awards are distributed. In addition to the student, the charity invites people who have made contributions over the past year so they can see their donations in action.

To date, the Charity has awarded over $244,000 in scholarships to more than 119 students.
